From Forest to Formula
Before there were formulas, there were macerations. This is not nostalgia — it is formulation logic. Slow-infusing botanicals in oil over time draws out oil-soluble phytochemical compounds that faster methods cannot approximate. The maceration at the center of this elixir holds seven plants: bilberry leaf, yarrow, nettle, plantain, calendula, birch leaf, black currant leaf. Each steeped until the oil has drawn from them what it can. This is the foundation. Everything else layers over it.
Over the maceration: a complex of Nordic berry seed oils, all cold-pressed from seeds that are byproducts of Finland's centuries-old berry harvest. Lingonberry. Bilberry. Sea buckthorn CO2 extract — not diluted oil, but a concentrated extraction dense in carotenoids — gives the elixir its warm gold tone. Liquorice root oil, gently brightening and skin-comforting. The formula is anhydrous: no water. Every oil-soluble compound from every botanical is intact and available when you apply it. Use it last. Two to three drops, pressed between palms, pressed into skin. The forest, in its final gesture of the day.
How to Use
2–3 drops warmed between palms, then pressed gently into face, neck, and décolletage. Always press — never rub.
Use it as your final PM step after water-based products, sealing everything beneath it. Or use it alone as your moisturizing layer on evenings when your skin calls for something simpler and richer. Some skin — especially during hormonal change — thrives with oil as its primary nourishment. Trust what yours tells you.
