$26.00

Nordic Meadow Balm is a concentrated, anhydrous everyday balm for dry hands, cuticles, knees, elbows, and rough patches — the balm to reach for before gardening or hands-on work, or any time skin needs more than a cream.

Its green color comes from a long, slow maceration of Nordic meadow herbs — plantain, yarrow, nettle, calendula, and birch, bilberry, and black currant leaf — infused in-house until the oil carries what the plants hold. Cold-pressed Nordic berry seed oils (lingonberry, cloudberry, sea buckthorn, black currant) and piñon resin are layered into a base of beeswax, murumuru, and shea butter. Because it holds no water, no emulsifiers, and no preservatives, a small amount melts on contact and leaves a breathable botanical veil. The scent is entirely botanical — juniper, balsam fir, and a considered blend of essential oils, no synthetic fragrance.

The Story

Most balms begin with a base. This one begins with time.

Months before there is a balm, there is a jar of oil and a handful of meadow herbs — plantain, yarrow, nettle, calendula, and the leaves of birch, bilberry, and black currant. They steep slowly, in-house, through a long maceration that cannot be hurried. The oil draws out what the plants hold, a little more each week, until it takes on their deep green. That color is not added. It is the maceration itself — the visible proof of everything the herbs gave up to the oil.

That green oil is the foundation. Everything else is built around it: cold-pressed Nordic berry seed oils — lingonberry, cloudberry, sea buckthorn, black currant — and a little piñon resin, held in beeswax, murumuru, and shea. No water. No emulsifiers. No preservative system. Nothing that would ask the botanicals to share the space.

It melts on contact and settles into a breathable veil — the balm you reach for before the garden, after the sink, at the end of a day your hands have worked through. A small amount goes further than you expect. This is the one that stays within reach.

Hero Ingredients +

The Meadow Maceration · The Green Heart
Plantain · Yarrow · Nettle · Calendula · Birch, Bilberry & Black Currant Leaf
What it does: Seven meadow herbs, steeped slowly in oil in-house over a long maceration — the oil drawing out what the plants hold, week after week, until it runs deep green.
Why it's here: The green color is not added. It is the maceration itself — the visible proof of everything the herbs gave to the oil. This is the foundation the whole balm is built on.

Andiroba Seed Oil · The Amazonian Active
Carapa guianensis seed oil
What it does: A substantial, cushioning emollient oil — rich and slow-absorbing — that gives the balm its depth and body.
Why it's here: Chosen for the quality of its oil, present in real measure. One of the formula's quiet workhorses.

Cloudberry · The Rare Berry
Rubus chamaemorus · cold-pressed seed oil
What it does: A cold-pressed Nordic berry seed oil with a fatty-acid profile almost singular in the plant world — rare, botanically distinctive.
Why it's here: Cloudberry grows where little else will. Its oil is one of the reasons this balm feels the way it does.

Nordic Berry Seed Oils · The Harvest
Lingonberry · Sea Buckthorn · Black Currant · cold-pressed
What it does: A trio of cold-pressed Nordic berry seed oils, layered around the cloudberry, each contributing its own fatty-acid character to the balm's nourishment.
Why it's here: Berry seed oils cold-pressed from the seeds of Finland's berry harvest — part of the range's Nordic backbone.

Raw Beeswax · The Seal
Cera alba · family farm, Pennsylvania
What it does: Gives the balm its solid form and the breathable veil it leaves on skin — holding the botanical oils in place.
Why it's here: Raw and unrefined, from a single family farm in Pennsylvania — sourcing we can name.
